I believe Florida purposefully threw the 4th game to keep the Stanley Cup finals going longer because there is big big big bucks for every game played. There is a huge financial loss to end the finals early on a 4-0. It doesn’t make sense that Bobrovsky was a human wall the first 3 games and suddenly allows 5 goals in the first period only to be replaced by a less competent backup

If there is no merit to the idea that sporting events are rigged, then why did all major sports change the legal definition on their tickets from "sporting event" to "entertainment event"? If you know the law, they had to do this so the leagues couldn't be charged with a crime for rigging games. While it is not as easy to see in Hockey, it is blatently obvious in the NFL if you slow down any of the important plays. But as Rome burned, the citizens were provided with plenty of bread and circus.

The league was fixed going back to the 1950's. Rocket Richard was so abused as a hockey player, right in front of the referees and no penalty was called. A couple of times Richard lost it and went after not only the player but the referee as well. The reason the Rocket Richard riot happened was because of what I just described. The president of the NHL was Clarence Campbell who hated Rocket Richard. He hated the fact that the Rocket's fines were being paid by the fans fund they started and used to pay for the fines. The day that Campbell suspended Richard at a full Hearing, the decision was already made before the Hearing took place. Richard's witnesses weren't allowed to be heard. What was significant was that Richard was going for the scoring title that year and he was banned from the playoffs too. He lost the scoring championship and Montreal lost their star player for the playoffs. If Richard had not been banned Montreal would have won 6 Stanley Cups in a row and not 5. The refs were always against the Montreal teams let obvious penalties go by other teams while coming down hard on Montreal players. A recent case in point is recently when Montreal played Vegas in the year Montreal made the Stanley Cup finals Perry was bleeding from the face & no penalty was called as was Gallagher.

the 2024 draft lottery was worse than the 2023 lottery. Bettman pulled the sharks 3 times in a row before pulling the blackhawks for pick 2 while only having a 22% chance each pick after 1. which is incredibly unlikely when you consider all 3 picks %'s.

The best way to know if the NHL is rigged & corrupt is to follow the money. Of course the owners, Bettman, & referees would never give reporters access to their bank accounts.

There’s no doubt in my mind that the NHL is rigged after watching the officiating in these playoffs. They pick and choose to call different penalties at different parts of the game. What was a penalty earlier in the game is somehow not a penalty later in the game. If it isn’t rigged then the NHL should be embarrassed for all the atrocious calls this playoffs.

If your ticket says you are attending an "ENTERTAINMENT" venue it surely can be rigged. It's legal. Some fan sued the NFL Dallas Cowboys over that issue.. I think in the 70's.

Trouba's elbow was not a suspension because he missed. As you also showed, he left his skates leading with the elbow toward an opposing player's head missing entirely and crashing into the glass. Frankly, it was worse than the first clip you showed that drew a small fine. At the end of the day, the leauge is a joke. The idea that the league cares about player safety is total BS. The punch to the rat turd's [aka Marchand] head is another prime example that the league does not care. The backhand to Seguin's face that resluted in him bleeding on the ice and only being a two-minute minor is another. The list goes on and on and on. Hits in the numbers happen every single game and are rarely called. Love tap cross checks however are called but when they are, they are called as interference and when actual interference occurs, it goes uncalled. The league has zero credibility. These calls or non-calls may well be associated to the betting line. At the very least, officiating is poor. The league does not put its money where its mouth is relative to player safety. Otherwise, punishment would be much different and include a like kind component and one that includes a minimum game suspension and one that would not be less than the number of games an injured player misses from a dirty hit. Most things are lie today, why should the NHL be any different.

Now this is interesting. Canadian teams since the Canadians won the cup in 1993 are a disastrous 0-7 (assuming Florida wins, which is all but certain) in cup finals. In the last 5 years, just 4 teams from Florida, Texas, and Nevada have made the conference finals/semi finals a staggering 11 times. Now compare that to all 7 Canadian teams making it a measley 3 times in the same time period. It really is a statk contrast.
